How You Can Help:
We encourage all our guests to participate in our sustainability initiatives. By working together, we can create a more environmentally conscious community. Here are a few simple ways you can help during your stay:
- Recycling: Please separate your rubbish and use the designated recycling bins for paper, plastic, and other recyclable materials.
- Composting: We reuse cardboard in our garden compost. Please leave any cardboard you'd like to recycle in the designated area.
- Energy Conservation: Help us conserve energy by turning off lights when you leave a room.
- Water Conservation: Be mindful of your water usage, especially when showering and washing.
- Protecting Wildlife:
- Please close all doors to rooms and restrooms to prevent insects from getting trapped inside.
- Keep toilet lids down to prevent reptiles, such as lizards, from becoming trapped. - Firewood: We preserve fallen wood on the property to provide natural habitats. If you need firewood for the outdoor fire pit, please order it directly from Neil Kentish on 0419 843 937 (delivered). Wood for the pot belly stove is provided by the centre and should not be used for the outdoor fire pit.
- Food Waste: We encourage you to minimize food waste by taking home any unused food you brought with you.
